A Playful Wing Find: Little Stacking Cups

An everyday favorite for small hands and sweet moments.

Every time we play with these, I hear one of the fairy godmothers from Sleeping Beauty in my head: “Cups, cups, cups, cups…”, and I smile. Smile at the memories with my kids, Fairy Fauna’s way of baking, and these precious moments with my grandbaby.

As you can see, these simple stacking cups are more than just cups to me.

Playful Wing Find: Little Stacking Cups, an everyday favorite

Why These Cups Caught My Eye

Neutral blush and dusty blues and sage stacking cups on a soft pink baby blanket in the living room.

First of all, I love the soft, muted colors. They blend easily into our home, are calm, and visually restful. I could leave the stack on a stool in the Rose Parlour, and it would look like it belongs.

Secondly, these stacking cups are 100% food-grade silicone, so they are safe for little ones to chew on… and we all know that is what happens to baby toys, they end up in the mouth.

Additionally, these silicone cups are quiet when knocked over… one could argue that it’s not as much fun for the baby, but it certainly helps my nervous system (HSP) to enjoy the playtime.

Some of the cups also have an adorable textured rim for the little hands to explore.

Lastly, I remember some silicone toys in the past, that picked up all the dust they came in contact with, but these silicone cups are dust-free, and that is a huge plus.

Did you notice the adorable pink baby blanket with swaying branches? It is one of my favorites. It is soft, cozy, and made with organic jersey cotton.

On the blanket, you also see the softest burp cloths, another lovely Playful Wing Find I’d like to share with you.

All the Fun We Have with These Cups

This particular set can be used in many ways.

They are perfect for stacking, nesting, and counting.

Each cup has little holes at the bottom for shadow shows. Just shine a light through the holes onto a wall.

They are perfect toys for bath time or a day at the beach. You can watch the water run through the holes. Or build sand cakes with adorable designs, such as a unicorn, flower, cactus, and dinosaur.

I love toys that leave room for imagination and grow with the child. I can see these stacking cups turn into cupcakes at a tea party or little stools for Barbies.

A Storybook Note

Sometimes the smallest and simplest toys get used a lot. And these stacking cups in our Playful Wing belong in that category.
