Since it only requires two ingredients and a couple of minutes of your time, you can whip it up when unexpected guests arrive at your doorstep. Serve the hazelnut fruit dip with whatever snacks you happen to have: fruit, pretzel sticks, chips, crackers, or cookies.

Hazelnut Fruit Dip Recipe

Hazelnut Fruit Dip Ingredients

  • 1/4 c Hazelnut Spread (NUTELLA®)
  • 1/2 c yogurt (see notes below)
  • dash of cinnamon or chocolate shavings (optional)

Notes

I used plain Greek yogurt, but I’m used to the tangy flavor. You might want to add a tiny bit, like a 1/8 or 1/4 tsp, of vanilla extract or use vanilla yogurt.

How to Make

  • Stir the ingredients together in a small bowl.
  • Serve immediately or store in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Fruit Platter Idea

Fruit platter, an easy snack for unexpected guests: nectarines, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, clementines, hazelnut spread fruit dip, strawberry fruit dip.

I placed nectarines, strawberries, blueberries, black grapes, and mandarin oranges on the plate with two fruit dips: hazelnut spread dip and strawberry fruit dip. Both are great and work well together.

I did not use any fruit coloring on the strawberry dip. But you can add color without artificial dyes. See the idea in the strawberry yogurt fruit dip post.
