Why I Chose 4-Layer Instead of 8-Layer Muslin
First, I ordered an 8-layer muslin throw. It felt rough, stiff, and heavy, and it lacked that beautiful flowy movement I was looking for. So back to the store it went.
My next purchase was a sage 4-layer muslin blanket. Upon receiving the four-layer one, I was delighted to notice how soft and light it felt. It drapes beautifully over a bed or couch, which is a must.
And most importantly, it is perfect for curling up in when watching a movie or reading a book.
I debated whether to get a throw or a twin-size one. I chose the bigger size. Since it is not bulky, it works well as a throw on a queen-size bed.
