I’d like to introduce you to our little bear. His name is Pooky. My daughters named him after Garfield’s bear, and he’s been quietly living in the Rose Parlour ever since.
He doesn’t chime in or move much. But four times a year, sometimes more, he receives a new ribbon.
Small Change. Big Feeling
I love to decorate the home but I don’t redecorate rooms from scratch each season. What I do instead, I keep the basics the same and layer the season into what already exists.
Small changes, like a ribbon, a book stack, throw blanket, a sprig… These tiny swaps have a big effect, save time and money, and help with the storage situation.

Pooky as a Seasonal Anchor
Pooky, the Rose Parlour Bear, gets a new ribbon that reflects the current theme of the room. This way he becomes a visual cue that the room has entered a new chapter. He quietly ties into signs, vignettes, and other seasonal touches, so he always fits right in. He is part of the story.
Pooky in the Moonlight Serenade

Pooky wears a white organza ribbon that reflects the moonbeams in the night sky.
There is romance in the air, couples dancing under the moonlight while Moonlight Serenade softly plays in the background.
The Rose Parlour is ready for Valentine’s or any romantic moment or celebration.

Pooky in the Blush Frost in the Woodland

For the Christmas season and till the end of January, Pooky dons a blush satin ribbon.
The Rose Parlour gets a festive blush and champagne glow look. And a gentle change to a hush of winter as January opens the next chapter.
